High-quality Curved Glass Staircases
Here’s how to understand that the results you got are high-quality: the glass panels are tempered or laminated and carry a visible certification mark. Edges are polished to a smooth finish with no rough spots or uneven grinding. The curve is consistent with no visible warping or sections that don’t follow the intended arc. Fittings and hardware sit tight, with no gaps between the glass and the mounting points. The whole structure feels solid when you apply pressure; there’s no flex or movement at the base or along the handrail.
Red flags: glass without certification markings, or the installer can’t confirm the grade. Visible distortion in the panels when you look through them at an angle. Uneven spacing between panels or gaps where the glass meets the frame. Hardware that’s misaligned or shows signs of improper drilling, like cracks or chips near fastener points, is a serious concern. A handrail that wobbles or feels loose at any point along the curve.

I had looked at another company prior to finding Luxury Staircase Railings but was not comfortable with how they wanted me to send a 65% deposit based on photos I sent them before they would come out and do measurements or I getting to see anyone face to face. Ross was completely different. He went the extra mile to make sure that I was comfortable and even helped me decide on glass that was less expensive that the one I thought i needed based on the last companies recommendations.
